Philanthropy is the desire to promote the welfare of others, and includes generosity in all forms. You don’t need a million dollars to make an inpact. . Get involved, learn to do good, and then learn to do it better. To start, “Lift where you stand.” -Dieter F. Uchtdorf
-Donate clothing or non-perishable food to local organizations.
-Partner with a refugee family in your city.
-Host a book drive and donate books and school supplies to education organizations or schools.
-Get an education yourself: take a class on global citizenship, communications, philanthropy, or anthropology. Or complete a simple training in bystander intervention, recognizing signs of human trafficking, or sexual education.
-Learn about global issues and conflicts. Read balanced news sources and vote.
-Give Blood.
-Make a friend with someone who doesn’t look or think like you.
-Read one of these fantastic books
